About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, creative Director of Marketing to bring our brand to life and help us build out our marketing team. As the Director of Marketing, you will lead all our marketing activities from content to digital marketing...you will be in charge of it all! You will also help us identify which hires to prioritize and play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, and managing them.

 

Our ideal candidate is a "player-coach" - someone with management experience who can also act as a do-er while the team is still being built. We are looking for someone who has comprehensive knowledge of B2B content marketing (Eg. webinars, case studies, white papers) and can help us produce thoughtful marketing assets that will generate leads through creative campaigns. You’ll partner closely with Partner Success, Product, Sales, to understand what makes our audience tick and deliver engaging and thought-leading content that drives demand. 


You'll also be spearheading our marketing events; from organizing roundtables and webinars to establishing our presence at conferences, you'll ensure that our customers and prospects engage with EdSights through different channels and diverse experiences. We are looking for a generalist who has strong experience in demand generation. To top it off, you'll get to do all of this while making an impact.

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B Saas senior marketing role with a focus on content creation  

  • Successful track record in demand generation focused role

  • Management and hiring experience

  • Developed a portfolio of blog posts, ebooks, guides, white papers, etc. - which you'll be proud to submit with your resume

  • Outstanding writer and storyteller who sweats the details

  • An eye for design and a general sense of aesthetics

  • Deep industry knowledge

  • Track record of bias toward action

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice-to-Haves

  • The ability to make your content look beautiful

  • SEO Knowledge

  • Paid social advertising experience (with an emphasis on LinkedIn)
