EdSights Recognizes Inaugural PERSIST Award Recipients

Earlier this week, EdSights hosted its inaugural PERSIST Summit in New York City. The event was a gathering of over 50 college and university representatives from around the country featuring conversations centered around the key drivers impacting student persistence. The event served as a kick off to EdSights' efforts to solve the college completion crisis by bringing the student voice to the forefront of the conversation.

During the landmark event, EdSights introduced its inaugural PERSIST Awards; recognizing leading institutions that have adopted and implemented innovative and effective approaches to supporting student success and persistence. Categories included:

  • Rising Star

  • Excellence in Execution

  • Leadership in Persistence

EdSights is proud to recognize the following institutions for their amazing efforts. As part of this recognition, EdSights has committed to make a contribution to each institution's food pantry or scholarship funds.

We look forward to continued partnership and success!

In addition, WIU has developed communication channels to share EdSights data across multiple departments so the entire WIU campus community can leverage the data in support of student success and persistence goals.

Leadership in Persistence - Jacksonville State University

Jacksonville State University (AL) was recognized with the inaugural PERSIST Leadership in Persistence Award.

JSU has successfully incorporated risk factors from EdSights into their processes to improve how their team leverages their EAB Navigate system to identify and engage students who are struggling with factors such as mental health, financial insecurity, and engagement.
